"Definitely did not feel like a 5 star hotel as listed… don’t even include still bottled water etc. Front desk staff not very friendly. Room was clean but definitely feel like they skimped on some of the amenities. Room was listed to have record player and didn’t, only received after calling and asking. Rooftop bar was closed for a private event so I didn’t even get to check that out. Vip drink ticket was only given to me after I asked. "

"Awesome 3 night stay in early May in a nicely decorated and refurbished over water bungalow. Quiet and tranquil. Spectacular views from all the bungalows and around the property. Excellent service. A hands on general manager who personally greets each guest and who was always available for questions and comments. As an avid paddle boarder I enjoyed use of the boards provided for guests. The bungalows sit in waist deep water perfect for swimming, walking, or watching the Eagle Rays swim by."

We did the overwater deluxe bungalow and it was the most incredible room I have been in. The glass cut outs in the floor and just how big these villas are made it feel like our own private oasis. "Smaller resort, which was actually nice b/c it is more relaxing. Gorgeous pool area. We stayed in an over-water bungalow, which was spacious and lovely. The only complaint I would say is it would have been nice to have a chair. Like just a regular chair to sit in. There wasn't one in the room or on the deck (only lounge chairs). Got a free bottle of sparkling wine delivered to our room, which was a nice surprise. Food was outrageously expensive, which I expected, but what I did not expect is...

"My room went out of electricity and AC during the second night. I had to get dressed in the dark in the morning because no one that could fix it was on staff till 8am. The issue was fixed by the time I got back to my room at 5:30pm."

The unit we were given was generally in rather poor condition due to a lack of maintenance. The floor was filthy, the drawers and shelves appeared to have not been cleaned or even dusted for months, and in general, the entire unit can only be described as tattered and dirty.
