"We were in an annex, not in the main hotel. The room was clean, but the space was very small with the 'bedroom' on a mezzanine floor. The roof sloped so much it was difficult not to crack your head on the ceiling. The bed was a small double. The towels were old and must have been washed using conditioner as they did not dry you after a shower. "lovely clean modern rooms with balcony! Comfy beds, fab bathroom with powerful shower (: Great customer service. Only negative for me was that the pillows were really hard but im sure if i had asked they would have provided a soft one. Would definately stay again if I was visiting Colchester & I dont often like a place enough to want to."

"The room was fine, good size, clean, everything in working order. However, the room was extremely hot with no air conditioning and there was a lot of noise from outside. Staff were very helpful, allowed us to check in early but unable to change our room to reduce heat or noise as the hotel was full. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice."
