"Mountain Views stand out for sure as the resort is built into the side of mountain. There are 140 steps to get from the room we stayed in to the main level where the restaurant and bar are located. There is an additional 15 minute hike to get down to the beach. If you have physical limitations this is not convenient. If you’re into physical adventure, camping style to a degree, then you’ll love this place. "

"Overall average property. Nice people, poor service mostly because understaffed, out of a lot of menu choices, dinner took over an hour and a half to be served. Ok for a night layover but wouldn’t stay for several days/week"

Food was great Both beaches are the only thing that could improve to have more sand and cleaner entrance in the beach. On both beaches there is a lot of rock and not space to relax and swim I. "We enjoyed many happy hour sunsets from our private balcony watching ferries and sailboats as they came and went from the harbor, then walked the short 2 block walk to the wharf area for our choice of fine restaurants, bars, live music, cruz bay nightlife or shopping. Perfect location for our 5-night vacation."

"What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"

"Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. "

"The manager Ashur was most helpful and responsive. They responded to minor issues promptly. We loved the large space and stunning view. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. Would highly recommend. One suggestion - add a sofa bed for additional guests. Note: there is a single hideaway bed. "
