Very little interaction, very transactional and now clear guidelines given on how to find our room, and no information was provided regarding the breakfast facilities/times etc was given. Personally I find having an airpod in during a customer interaction a little unprofessional but I could just be old fashioned and used to the customer service of more recognized chains....

"The Fontaine is in our rotation when traveling to KC. It continues to be very suitable for its location, cleanliness, comfort and value. Are the rooms in need of updating? maybe, but not to extent of calling them tired. We love visiting the bar on the 7th floor off the pool deck, though pool was not open for the season yet on this stay. Some of the best happy hour drinks you'll find anywhere! On matter of bathroom towel racks, none except one in the shower, not sure why there aren't any on...

"I was given an "upgrade" from a two-queen room to a king suite with a king bed and a fold-out bed. I was told blankets and pillows would be delivered so the fold-out would be usable, which, by the way, would require moving furniture to do so. I followed up on blankets/pillows three times, and finally, at midnight, I gave up. The "upgrade" was a lie, and I ended up paying over $400 for a space that was, for all intents and purposes, unusable. Add to that the fact that the entire lobby looked like...

Fix your ice machine machines! 2. Put some towel bars in the bathrooms! A room with two queen beds is clearly meant for multiple people. However, there was a single hook on the wall. No rod to hang multiple bath towels, no place for hand towels. One single hook for everyone to share for every type...
