"100% recommend the Lodge at Schroon Lake. The location is perfect, the lakefront beach is adorable, the gym, gameroom, and indoor pool are excellent. We stayed in one the the "Bird's Nest" cabins, which was very cute, though very small and very basic, but I liked being a little bit out of the way from the busy-ness of the resort. "Entire building smells damp. Rugs are old and worn out. First room smelled strongly of black mold and mildew. Requested a new room. Second room, floor felt dirty and the security lock on the door was broken. Won’t be going back."

"It was the perfect up to date, modern, clean hotel room, right in the middle of Main Street. Very comfortable queen bed, very nice shower. Very easy, convenient , no hassle valet parking. I would come back here again and I would highly recommend it to other people. It was a great stay, great experience."
