"Be sure to call the property prior to arrival for gate code and door code, even though the reserved condo states check-in at 4pm. There’s no front desk at the property. The condo includes AC, washer/dryer, fridge, etc. The dumpster for trash is located in the back where all the mail boxes are located. Parking is free. The beach and market place is a 5 mins drive from the condo."

"The appliances were all in pretty poor condition. The fridge was so wet inside from some sorry of condensation issue that the produce drawer had 2 inches of water in it. The microwave door had to be slammed to close. The ceiling fans have a 1 hope max timer, in an apartment without air conditioning. The floor fan quite working in the middle of the night. Location was good, near shipping and tourist stuff. Apartment was clean. however the worst thing is NO SECURITY ONSITE. A bunch of kids had a...

"Prefer they clean the room daily, also need to go to the front desk to get more toilet paper, paper towel etc. Also in order to get new towels you need to bring the old dirty ones to the Front desk to get new clean one."

"We loved our ocean and pool view lanai! We would have preferred the ocean pool was the “quiet” pool (there are three pools on the property), and the “quiet” pool is next to the pickleball courts. Within just a few days of our visit we were informed of an additional fee per night for A/C if requested. This information should have been included in the original ad. If it was there, it was buried in the weeds as we didn’t see this upon booking."

"The check in process was very easy, even for late check in. The property was beautiful. We had an ocean view. There was construction going on in other parts of the complex, but did not bother us. They offered beach chairs and pool noodles for the nice pool. Had the pool to ourselves most times. Loved to be able to walk out and see the sunset every night. The room was nice. Loved having laundry and a full sized fridge. The fridge had some rust and the pull out bed had some kind of sand or...

"Kitchen was below average equipped. Spices and other supplies were low in supply and aome were old with a very limited selection. Other supplies were avg."

"Everything was great! Chaos and towels to use at the beach! Umbrella came in handy to use at 2step beach; and the cooler was a life saver! We bought ice packs to use, and left them in the cooler for the next guests! Couldn't have been more satisfied with the condo! (Other than maybe a pizza cutter for those buying cheap frozen pizzas for dinner)."

"This is a wonderful place to stay in Puna. It is in the heart of the area and they regularly host events, which can be fun to attend. They have a cafe at the reception area with some healthy food options, mostly pre-made."
