"The property was beautiful. Right next to the water. Very peaceful. The rooms and hallways were dated and needed remodeling. Bed was very comfortable. Staff is great. Bar and lounge area comfortable and view beautiful! Self parking needed to be resurfaced!"

"Place was nice. They have lovely four cats and that’s the one of the main reason why we like this place. They also provide all useful gears for guests to use like beach chairs, sunscreen, snorkeling gear, laundry stuffs, etc. The only thing I would like to say is the orange cat’s eyes has some illness issue. There is a lot of discharge in his eyes. We also have cats, and we believe this can be treated. Please take them to doctors if you can. Thanks a lot. We want to come back next year to see...

"The pool area for kids and for the adults was really nice super safe for the little ones the WiFi however especially by the kids pools was very bad."

"This quaint property is nestled in a space that is open. Staff are amazing there is security present. I only wish the pool would stay open later. Thank you for a wonderful vacation."

"I don’t recommend this property. You have to walk 20 minutes to the hotel from the main lobby or take a tram. The tram is up to a 15 minute wait with several stops. If you have an excursion to get too, this could delay your arrival. The rooms are split between owner occupied or hotel. The hotel side is old decor with popcorn ceilings. Not pictured on their website. The owner occupied rooms are a little nice but we had to be moved three times due to faulty air conditioning. Staff was NOT helpful...

"I would give a higher rating but there were construction noises everyday since our first day in the room next door. I asked my elderly mother if we should request another room but she said that would be difficult for her to pack and move again. My suggestion is to advise the guest at the front desk before they unpack that there is construction in the next room so they are informed and offered a room with no construction going on next door and comp the guest or refund if its a downgrade. "We took the ocean view room, waking up to the views and natural white noise through the night gave us the much needed disconnect from our busy lives. The staff were friendly and breakfast was great (lots of fruits and homemade stuff). Would definitely recommend."

"The lokahi lodge is a very comfortable stay. It’s like staying in a cabin. Very quiet location right next to volcano national park. The room was clean, spacious, and nice. Good stay for anyone wanting to visit the park"

"Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet das gleiche gilt für das Zimmer. Wir wurden gleich freundlich von den Mitarbeitern empfangen. Wir konnten als Gast den großen Kühlschrank mit benutzen um Getränke zu kühlen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und man bekam immer einen Teller mit etwas Obst aus dem Garten. Und dazu die tolle Aussicht auf den Ozean."
