"Pool was pre packed"

"The property is absolutely beautiful. From the ocean fed lagoon and pools to the huge art collection that spans the walkway. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is limited and expensive, but also good, just a bit overpriced. The tram was broken down for 7 of our 10 days there, so a lot of walking was involved, and our A/C in our room needed to have the thermostat repaired almost daily."

"The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. A sticky patio door was immediately fixed and extra pool passes were given for my guests. We also enjoyed the free ice water , popsicle and pineapple offered all day poolside."

"Check in was slow about 20min with the agent. Didn't get my rooms till 15-30mins after check in time. Mind you check out is 10am. Female at Kona pool bar was rude. And they automatically add tip there for horrible customer service. Kona pool slide was broken the whole time. Only 1 tram was running so service was so slow. We normally love it here but this time was very different. Seems like the employees just dont care anymore. Very disappointing cause prices only increased."

"今回の滞在にはとてもがっかりしています。 部屋のベッドやバスルームに、蚊や小さな虫の死骸がたくさんありました。自分で何度か掃除しましたが、その後もまた虫が出てきては死んで落ちてきます。おそらく殺虫剤を使った直後だと思うのですが、それが人体に影響ないのか少し不安です。 夜中にどうしても我慢できずフロントに電話して、翌日の清掃スタッフに伝えてほしいとお願いしました。ですが、「バルコニーのドアや窓を開けないでください」と言われただけでした。 私は遅い時間にチェックインしていて、そもそもドアや窓は開けていないと伝えたのですが、「Ok，good」と言われただけで、特に謝罪もありませんでした。まるでこちらに問題があるような対応で、とても不快に感じました。 翌日、清掃スタッフの方にメモを書いて、チップもお渡しし、「できればしっかり掃除をお願いしたい」と伝えました。 その日の夜に部屋へ戻ると、小さい飛び虫は少し減っていましたが、ゴキブリの死骸がありました。 正直、使われている殺虫剤が人体に影響ないのかも分からず、不安な気持ちのまま滞在することになりました。全体的にとても不満の残る滞在でした。"

"The room was cleaned but sand was never really swept off our floor completely, and we don't think they changed our sheets as it felt like there was sand in our sheets always. Our soap was never refilled during our entire week stay. There was a lot of variety in the breakfast but some odd choices. Mostly spam every morning with premade omelets. "Such a beautiful place to stay! Walking into the hotel and seeing the blue Pacific Ocean right in front of you was breathtaking. The hotel had gorgeous gardens all around the property. We enjoyed the complimentary snorkel equipment on the final day. The room service twice a day will definitely spoil you!"

"Upon check-in I learned that booking through Expedia cancels any benefits of a Bonvoy member (breakfasts, upgrades, etc). The hotel was not very helpful and dismissed the issue, Expedia support was worthless and never responded. I would never use Expedia again for a Marriott, or other major brand, hotel reservation if you have earned status. The fitness center is very basic, and doesn't appear to have been update since our last stay, years ago. The food options are very limited, and...

"Rooms were fantastic for families and the resort was beautiful. The easy access to the main Hilton property was wonderful and our kids loved it. Super easy access to the restaurants and stores near by as well. Overall, couldn't have been happier with our choice."
