"I did n to receive the room I booked, and when I questioned it I was told that they do not honor third party booking requests. She then tried to charge me to move to a different room."

They used to have a little coffee bar where you were able to get great drinks such as matcha and they had a great restaurant. They have changed the restaurant and the food is not as great. "it’s a nice location, but there’s a lot of construction going on not only in the surrounding landscape but also inside the hotel. There’s a resort fee being charged every day and it’s really just a simple pool. Nothing fancy I wouldn’t say it’s really a resort. A resort really does have quite a few other amenities. "Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und durchdacht. Wir konnten hier auch kostenlos Waschen und hatten seht viel Freude an den lieben Katzen, die immet auf der Veranda lagen. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Zimmer."

"Check in was slow about 20min with the agent. Didn't get my rooms till 15-30mins after check in time. Mind you check out is 10am. Female at Kona pool bar was rude. And they automatically add tip there for horrible customer service. Kona pool slide was broken the whole time. Only 1 tram was running so service was so slow. We normally love it here but this time was very different. Seems like the employees just dont care anymore. Very disappointing cause prices only increased."

"This was amazing! Great staff, great location AND there's even a swimming hole (5 min walk, if that) with a waterfall! I've never stayed in a shared house before, but this one has spoiled me! It's close enough to be able to drive to all the good tourist spots. Oh, and hopefully you're there for the "big" farmers market on Saturdays. If I get back to the Big Island I'll be coming back here! Thank you for the great time!"

"Pool was pre packed"

"This place is unique, and the huge trees on the property are amazing. You can pick your own fruit and macadamia nuts even, and keep or eat them. The set up of the "common area" is a bit odd, with the main room being part of the hostesses house. The pictures of the beautiful kitchen that I saw in the listing was very misleading, as the kitchen is 100% hands off, guests are not allowed to touch it. Which was really weird and not welcoming, and odd that you can be right next to the hosts personal...

"The beach was crowded and open to public. There are homeless people camped at the side of the building near the beach which we didn’t feel safe. Too crowded and loud; there’s no place to relax. There is also additional resort fee which it didn’t make sense as there’s only a small poll; the place is more like a hotel than a resort. The front desk staff were not welcoming; barely a small; just check guests in. This is the worse “resort” place I ever stayed at and I will NEVER EVER going back."
