"How elegant this condo was, all the comforts of home. I couldn’t get over how the lanai was so roomy, whereas you can invite friends and family and just have a bonding day together. The master bedroom had a stall with 2 showers separated from the toilet . The other bedroom consisted of 2 double beds, a bathroom with a shower and a separate tub. "Stay was easy and very enjoyable. The room was clean, dated but the highlight was the balcony. We ate takeout and breakfasts with a great view but could’ve cooked with the well prepared kitchen. The bed however was definitely lopsided and worn and pillows not too great either. The beach chairs included I would skip on and just rent at a store. Very easy location and parking for all the activities in Kona."

"In all my travels, I have never had to go to a portal to get my check in information. The check in info needs to either be in the body of the email or made MUCH more clear that there is an additional step. Check in was painful for me BUT they responded quickly and even got us into the condo a bit early. After that, it was smooth sailing. "

"We loved our ocean and pool view lanai! We would have preferred the ocean pool was the “quiet” pool (there are three pools on the property), and the “quiet” pool is next to the pickleball courts. Within just a few days of our visit we were informed of an additional fee per night for A/C if requested. This information should have been included in the original ad. If it was there, it was buried in the weeds as we didn’t see this upon booking."

"Would never go back. This place had no A/C so it was way too hot inside even with the fans. If you park after 8pm it’s a block walk around the building just to get in due to door to the parking lot being locked up. Was never told about the construction going on upstairs that started at 8am. "Stayed at Cabin Kai 4 (Dec 26–30, 2025). Affordable and located in a beautiful, peaceful area with free parking, water, and Wi-Fi (weak). Major concern: No window coverings for the floor-to-ceiling bathtub window or windows above the bed and coffee bar, resulting in serious privacy issues while bathing and sleeping. "Everything was great! Chaos and towels to use at the beach! Umbrella came in handy to use at 2step beach; and the cooler was a life saver! We bought ice packs to use, and left them in the cooler for the next guests! Couldn't have been more satisfied with the condo!
