"My stay at the Volcano Forest Inn exceeded expectations. It was the perfect setting and quite the adventure driving in the light rain a few hundred yards down a dirt road surrounded by thick trees to finally arrive at this beautiful Inn nestled in the Volcano Forest. Jon texted very detailed instructions and information prior to my arrival which was very useful as well as welcoming. If I texted a question, he would promptly respond. Jon was there to greet me as I drove up and was very friendly...

"This review is long overdue, but the proprietors of this property deserve a shout out. This property was absolutely stunning. Nestled in the rainforest, the October evenings and mornings were cool and crisp, and quiet, but teeming with sounds of wildlife. We were provided with tasty pastries and fruit for our stay. In the daytime, we ventured to the black sand beaches, Kilauea, a farmer’s market, and nearby towns. We absolutely loved our room, which had a fireplace, very comfortable beds, small...

"No frills bed and breakfast. This is the type of place that you book for serenity and for the quiet atmosphere which was perfect for our trip. It is worth noting that you need to make arrangements to get your access code ahead of time if you think you will have delays in your travel. However this process was easy to do. The property is close to volcano national park and also has an enjoyable rainforest environment as well. "

"A nice, large apartment with a full sized stove/oven and frig (which can get noisy cycling at night). All the amenities of home (except a dishwasher). A large, covered lanai and easy parking. Plus an ecletic bookshelf. Convenient locatino to town and Kilauea. Quiet neighborhood. "

Even after we arrived, they made sure all our questions were answered and helped us plan our visit.
