"This is our second stay at this ryokan and onsen. We booked a tatami room for 5 people and it was a comfortable stay, though a bit cramped. If you want a private onsen, get there early because they were all booked by the time we arrived for check-in at 3pm. We did manage to book the private onsen for early the next morning. The public onsens were also very relaxing and easy to use. The kaiseki meals were amazing and they gave us a private room for dining. It's about a 10 minute walk from the...

"My stay at La Vista Fuji Kawaguchiko was wonderful. The view of Mount Fuji was absolutely breathtaking—the kind of view you never get tired of looking at. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I especially appreciated the staff’s help with transportation, which made getting around so much easier. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. A beautiful place with wonderful people. I would happily stay here again!"

"Excellent hotel and service. Very clean and quiet. We slept very well. Well located, about 15 minutes walk to old town."

"Roof top Fuji view is great. Kimono offering and public bath is wonderful. Has some difficulty to find out about transportation nearby. Lack of clear information. Hotel shuttle has no other stops. Made it difficult to get around the areas other than calling uber. Food are good but do not know what is on the menu. Overall very good experience"

"Disappointing decline in standards since 2022 We first stayed at Konansou in 2022 for our honeymoon, and it was the one ryokan we most wanted to revisit in Japan. Unfortunately, standards have noticeably declined. Check-in was friendly, with several staff greeting us. Dinner was still enjoyable, although slightly below our previous experience, possibly due to seasonal produce. Breakfast was far more disappointing, with noticeably poorer quality and fewer options. The communal onsen also...

"Amazing hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji! Room was nice and clean. Onsen was clean and empty when we were there. Service is excellent . Our personal server for dinner and breakfast, Nakamura San was the best! Kawaii! Delicious meals. Overall a memorable experience!"

"The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, the view was exactly what I wanted from my room, the communal spaces were very comfortable and clean, the staff was incredibly helpful and understood English, the baths were hot like I wanted and super super clean, and the nearby food was so good! I would love to go back!!!"

"Staff are very kind, they help us in a different ways. Very professional"

"A spacious hotel with a great location right next to Lake Kawaguchiko, near the shops and the Fuji Mountain ropeway. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at the buffet was a high standard and plenty of choice"

"Amazing for relaxing and sightseeing."

"Everything was amazing, the room was clean, they provided you with the option to select the BBQ dinner which was delicious! They do have drink options at an extra cost. But would recommend to stop at a convenience store to get snacks and extra things to keep in the room. But overall the view amazing, the fire pit so peaceful. Such a nice little getaway! Would highly recommend! The staff honestly was top notch!"
