"Of the six hotels that we have stayed in on this trip, this hotel was by far the most expensive per night and by far the biggest disappointment. Service was on pm par with star hotel. Our room had a lot of gnats in the bathroom. They were flying all over the mirror and into the soap. They were many of them in the sink. "Such a beautiful setting!!! The pool, the room, the view of Lake Como against the alps was breathtaking! The front staff was so helpful! The breakfast and server were lovely. The town of Colico was quaint. The train station is a short walk. The hotel room was total modern luxury vibe. Beautiful bathroom, soft robes, towels and blankets even a hat for the pool.
