"We had to move rooms initially as the wall heater had been left on and it was uncomfortably hot, plus there was a really bad smell (although the room looked cean). Hotel staff helpful and assigned new room without any fuss. Main negative is that half the hotel does not appear to have a lift so we had to haul suitcases up and down stairs. The second room was accessible by lift so much easier. Following that hiccup......rest of stay was very pleasant. Room comfortable and clean. Nice shower...

"BEWARE OF BEDBUGS, DO NOT STAY HERE!! We stayed here for 3 nights. On the final day, I spotted two adult bedbugs crawling on the bed and woke up with terrible, itchy bites along my ankles, legs, neck, and wrists. :( The receptionist moved us to a new room (which also had old bedbug shells under the covers) but refused to issue a refund in person, forcing us to file an email complaint. After 4 days of silence, customer service emailed us refusing a full refund, claiming only one night was...

"Very central location in city centre. Amazing building and converted prison. Unique stay and very efficient and helpful staff."

"Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again."

"Not great"

"Great breakfast, clean room. Bathrooms and rooms are quite small."

"Staff excellent, Breakfast okay but the Whole place need renovation. Old smelly carpet with very small stuffy Room. The Entrance is very smelly and stinky... The whole experience was very horrible and not expected of Ramada flagship..."

"Good breakfast, good sized room and helpful staff"

"Everything was great, a little different taking elevator up 1 floor for check in but I’m from US."

"Charming location. Delicious breakfast! Parking was tricky, especially at night. Overall a very lovely stay."

"Lovely hotel beautiful location Helpful staff With breakfast we had really tasty garlic mushrooms Will stay again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is amazing and within walking distance to everything- shops, restaurants and sights. Great service from the staff! They leave hot chocolate, sparkling/ still water and cookies in the room and replace each day if they are taken/used. We arrived by coach bus and it was a 5 min walk from Gloucester Green bus station. Highly recommend!"
