"The room i got was the smallest room and the staff guy lied to my face saying it was the biggest room in the hotel. I know because i booked another room and found out that was bigger than what i had originally. The AC kept getting locked and i had to run down to reception every couple hours to get it unlocked. "The room was clean & the breakfast was very good. But we were in the annexe which is a long walk from the reception. When I asked where the room was, the person at reception just waved vaguely to the right & said ‘it’s down there’. My husband & I are mobile & fine with walking, but we were hauling our suitcases a long way, so be warned of that. There is extra parking there, but we weren’t made aware of that. "Very clean and great staff. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to find out that the meat from the brasserie is all halal, which meant I had a steak on our second night. Also the ravioli dish was wonderful too. Loved the food. The spa facilities are fantastic and not busy. Other guests were perfectly pleasant, didn't experience any issues considering we were the only non-white couple there and my wife dresses modestly. "The guy on the front desk was polite/helpful enough but clearly having a bad day; could clearly hear from reception an argument on the phone. The rooms are ‘fine’ reflects in the price really. The rooms were very hot and stuffy but they did make sure a fan was provided for each room."

"From a value perspective, this location was excellent. Breakfast was provided, rooms were comfortable and there was a Harvester restaurant across the parking lot which worked out well when we arrived back after a long and exhausting day. The location is perfect if you are visiting Oxford, Cambridge, Bletchley Park and surroundings. Staff were wonderful!"
