"Rooms have no coffee maker, no microwave, no exhaust fan in the bathroom and given the bathroom is open to the rest of the room (wall does not go to ceiling) the smells and the sounds should not be shared. The 2 door closet only had 1 while the other only showed remaining hinges. The ice maker on our floor did not work, for those of you who stay the ice makers are located across from any room ending in 07 on any floor and the door to the stair are right there so going up one level was no big...

"Everything was beautiful and well maintained. I loved our room, and the housekeeping staff were fantastic, they were kind and accommodating. The room and hotel itself were very nice and clean, the room was spacious, neat, and comfortable. However, my one deterrent is how unhelpful the front desk was, I’ve never been to a hotel where they don’t have cutlery. They had zero cutlery when we asked. Also one night my friend needed a new pillow and they said they ran out of them for the night, again,...

"The room and bathroom were very small but the hotel itself was nice and clean. Omar was great! Very helpful with our bags. So was the lady that checked us in upon arrival. The only bad encounter I had was with one of the housekeepers. I’ve never had any hotel staff speak so rude to me. She was mad because we weren’t out of the room yet when she came to clean. I tried to tell her she could go in and start since my boyfriend was just brushing his teeth before we left but she rolled her eyes and...

"I had a fantastic time up there, it was well center and pretty close to everything around the area, a great bargain for your buck especially around that area when most hotel were going for $500 a night, close to the memorial site for 9/11, the bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious, clean and smelled good, the gym was well equipped and functioning, the coffee machine in the lobby was amazing, and the views outside the one40 restaurant were incredible, the staffs were friendly and...

"On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located to major attractions, shopping, restaurants and the subway system.
On the negative side, there is no shelving or storage space in the bathroom for toiletries and no pen and paper anywhere in the room. Having a coffee setup and mini fridge for the room would also have been appreciated."
