We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The walk was very higgly piggly and I did some damage to my back carrying the suitcases upstairs. As a senior, it would have been nice if help was provided with our luggage. When we checked out we asked for someone to take our luggage...

"Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience.
We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. Upon speaking to the unbothered reception staff, it was discovered that the hotel once had air conditioning, but it had broken years ago and wouldn't be repaired. The room was stiflingly hot. In addition to this, the...

"We had the best stay at the Broadway Hotel! The location is perfect, right in the heart of town and within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. Our room was cute and cozy, and we especially loved the bar with its roaring wood-burning fireplace. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely bonus, and the convenient on-site parking made everything so easy. Would absolutely recommend!"
