"Visited 3 rooms, having complained about what the gave me, 107 , 207 and finally stayed in 417. All rooms Dated, poorly kept, even the room we stayed in was the best of the worst. At one point trying to open the sash window, I thought it was about to fall into the road below, but I kept hold. Thankfully. Needs Massive investment."

"Our room and ensuite were clean and bright. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal we had was very tasty and well prepared. The location was just below the South Downs and in a beautiful little village just a short walk to the Wilmington Giant."

"L'hotel est situe a distance de marche (10 minutes) de la gare et du terminus du traversier, tres pratique. J'y suis reste un vendredi soir ou un grand groupe de cyclistes y sejournait. Ma chambre faisait face a la terasse et au restaurant donc tres bruyant jusqu'a environ 21h00. Ensuite silence complet (j'ai pu dormir la fenetre ouverte). Mon sejour fut bref mais j'y retournerait sans probleme. Epicerie et restaurant McDonald's a proximite."

No food available at 6pm on Sunday evening and the general decor of the pub and facilities is pretty poor. Fine for a short overnight stay but place needs an upgrade"
