"Did not have breakfast, but evening meal was good. Room was okay but for the three nights we stayed we didn’t get bed made or tea/coffee replenished or the small bin emptied. As for the noise from people using rooms above us it was a nightmare (do not choose room 3) Was not impressed "

"The building is centuries old, so keep that in mind. The stairs are not always level, but they manage to provide modern amenities. The restaurant is a favorite among locals for good reason. And the House is across the street from the cathedral. So convenient."

"Clean room picked riverside four poster . Not really a great riverside view due to flat roof . Water in the evening for the shower was like warm We did mention it and the morning it was sorted . Parking was good and easy . Lovely walk into the city . I thought breakfast was included and considering we already paid £215 midweek I think it was quite expensive without breakfast "

"The breakfast menu was cooked on demand several choices. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax after our days out. Well maintained to an excellent standard. Room was clean the bed was comfortable plenty of tea and coffee etc in the room. Staff were very friendly polite and professional. The food in the restaurant was good."

"This hotel is just fantastic. Plenty of parking , spacious clean room with plenty of coffee/tea milk and fluffy towels . The location is brilliant for the new forest and beaches . There is an Indian restaurant next door which is delicious. The hotel has a microwave and plates cutlery si you can heat up your own food or left overs from the curry . I have had the most relaxing weekend break at this hotel and cannot recommend this highly enough . "

"Parking was free and easily accessible. Shops in the city centre were very close and easy to walk to. The room was 'tired' and a little grubby - marks on bed base, chair very stained. Nice buffet style breakfast."

"This was an amazing experience! These people have been doing this for 40 years, and have it down! Hospitality is second nature to them! Everything was lovely! They gave us the family suite so we wouldn’t have to bring our luggage upstairs. Hilary made the most perfect breakfast and it was so lovely to chat with her. Highly recommend this place for home away from home! Definitely going back again!"

"Mooi hotel zo’n 500 m van het centrum met haar leuke plein en winkels. Aardig personeel ook. De gezellige sfeer in het hotel ontbrak wel. Deed wat stil aan ook Verder prima voor een nachtje."

"Wonderfully appointed apartment. We really appreciated the opportunity to use the shared laundry, with detergent provided. The apartment is clean, beautiful, and conveniently located both to the train station (where you can also easily board The Stonehenge Tour bus) and the town."
