"From checking in to checking out the following day most things were wonderful. The staff so friendly and helpful. Lovely room/bathroom and service and drinks in the 12th floor bar. The only downside was the breakfast, we had to wait absolutely ages for a coffee but the lady was very apologetic and we hadn't been told there was actually a help yourself coffee machine at the other end of the breakfast room. For the price of the breakfast we all thought it was rather substandard with not enough choices of fruit/meats/cheeses which for a hotel of this standard sadly lacked."

"Room was clean but not spotless. Felt like it needed updating. Very small space considering we booked the Superior Queen. The bathroom was also tiny, I’m only 5’4” but struggled in the shower to move. The bed was the softest mattress I’d ever slept on, caused me backache. Shops nearby are good, boots pharmacy and a Tesco express, alongside the theatre if you’ve booked a show. Parking nearby in Covent Garden so not far to walk to the hotel while carrying luggage. We requested extra towels and milk which were provided within minutes. All of the staff very polite and helpful with any questions. "

"The location is absolutely fantastic. Steps away from the Piccadilly Circus Tube station, tons of restaurants nearby (including Chinatown), and even multiple grocery store options. The Cocoon room was perfect for a solo traveler trying to adjust to the time zone. There was no city noise, despite being in a very busy area. I didn't like that there was an extra fee (£40) to check in early and a fee to hold onto your bags (£15) if you want to explore while waiting for check in time. Also, check out at 10am is a little ridiculous. All the staff that I interacted with were lovely and very helpful when I needed to ask for towels, etc. "

"The hotel is in a great location - close to theaters, restaurants and museums. Hotel itself is very comfortable. This was our second stay and we will stay there again in the future. "

" I recently stayed at the Middle Eight hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience upon departure. After check-out I left my luggage in storage and went out before my flight. Shortly after, I realized that I had accidentally left a sealed box of premium cheeses in my room. The items were fully closed and vacuum-sealed. I returned to the front desk and spoke with Saq, who kindly checked with the team and informed me that the housekeeper had already taken the items and could return them in about 40 minutes. Unfortunately, I had to leave for the airport and could not wait. What troubled me most was not the mistake, but the handling of it. I was clearly told that my belongings were with a staff member who had taken them. In a hotel of this level, personal items left in a room should be placed in the lost and found, not taken home by staff. I contacted the hotel about this issue a week ago and, disappointingly, no one has responded. This situation left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and disappointed with the way it was handled."

"Internet was intermittent room was clean and slow in getting serviced but it’s a big hotel so that’s not unusual. Location was great for all of London attractions shows and even being back to Heathrow was a short walk to the tube and a very quiet train ride right into Heathrow … I’d definite stay there again "

"I was here only for a few hours in between trips from Glasgow to Paris. What I liked the most was that this place was conveniently located near the British Museum and very near St Pancras train station. "
