"Booked in early January, some hours later, on the same day, messaged hotel asking for a cancellation, because I realised that possibly I wouldn't be able to make these dates or even the city due to personal circumstances. Even with more than one month in advance, the hotel refused to cancel and refund the booking; We were a big group, booked 3 different rooms; we paid different £ for the rooms, but got exactly the same room size/ layout and facilities. "The rooms were very inexpensive. They were very small. But clean and the beds were a lot more comfortable than most of the beds I’m finding in the UK. The bathrooms and kitchen were meticulously clean and organized. The kitchen had and oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers and every utensil, pot, pan, or sheet I’d need to cook. The only down side is there’s no plates, bowls to put my food in. I had to eat the food out of the pans I cooked them in. And the can opener doesn’t work. But those are...

"Advert for hotel states food availability. There is none also no bar. Food establishments are very close to hotel. We planned to get a meal and possibly breakfast but not available. This has been like this for the last few years. Advertising needs to change "

"This place is spotless. Has big spacious light rooms tea / coffee water biscuits plates cutlery etc. A fridge a microwave.the most comfortable beds a power shower. Towels in bathroom. Ironboard infact everything u need for a short stay. Very secure car park with cctv and electric charging point if needed. "

"The gym as it was advertised contained only one running machine, a rower, some weights and a broken bike. However the room it was in was lovely! So under used. The rooms were nice and the beds comfy but the walls are paper thin and the workmen who visit it use language which would make a sailor blush so please be aware of taking children. Otherwise nice enough, pleasant and helpful staff and the beds were firm. Also the windows opened properly. I have not seen that in a while. Breakfast was...

"The room was clean and functional but, there some teething problems with lighting (make sure lower hallway lights are on for room 5 - up top); the kitchenette, if needed, requires a few more tools & gadgets (bread knife, cork screw/bottle opener - assume nothing and ask) and some (flat pack) furniture has been poorly assembled and rattles. But overall it was warm, quiet, double bed with, a decent corner shower room, including a few necessaries, to make it a comfy experience. "
