"The property is located somewhat away from the main streets. You are not able to walk to any of the local businesses. Our suite was in dire need of renovations. The carpet had soiled spots, seam ripping, and was old. The chair was old faded and soft. The kitchen cabinets need handles on them, the finish is worn from people using their hands to open them. On a good note, I liked the shower, the water was always hot and a powerful stream."

"Very unique and cozy inn, historic properties and character. We enjoyed the breakfast with the view every day in a very nice location. Either library or the main dining area with great service. Just recommended an extra seating or a love seat In the room and maybe a warmer tone of décor. Otherwise, it's great value."

"This hotel is nice and in a beautiful location. It is close to Main Street Blowing Rock with its many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations which we did not know when we booked. That was a disappointment. If you like to travel with your dog, this is the place for you."
