"Was initially given a room with a view of a wall in a internal courtyard. After complaining they gave me a higher floor with a partial view of the city. Hotel is wedged into an awkward spot so only premium rooms have views. Pool was closed. Location v central but too many ppl there"

"This hotel in right in the middle of the Gran Via, next to the Plaza del Calleo, so it is always crazy busy. Our room on the Calle Jacometrezo side, however was very quiet. It's a good base for getting around Madrid but it's a corporate hotel, so you won't get a lot of local feel. Although we generally like to stay in a neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay at Aloft Gran Via."

"Property is in great location and is well maintained, great staff and good variety of food provided in breakfast. Staff really helped me with communication specifically after I checked out and I forgot my passports in safe and left for another city but team from front desk msged me right after and reminded me just in time. "Location was good, comfy bed, nice towels and bedding. Facilities in room basic, had to request a kettle, only given 2 teabags a day, no milk or English teabags. Bedroom and bathroom very small. Wouldn't stay here again, much better properties around with more character and cheaper"
