"It's cheap and cheerful. Very cheap for this part of London. A couple of minutes walk from the tube station and 10 mins or so walk to Royal Albert Hall.
It's a bit shabby in communal areas and room was tired, but standard double room was reasonable size and bed was comfy, bathroom was pretty new and wouldn't have been out of place in a more upmarket hotel. All spotlessly clean as well.
All staff friendly and helpful and a basic but perfectly good continental breakfast was a bonus."

"After staying here for 5 days, I am very confused about some of the low/poor reviews. People seem to expect 5* hotel experiences on a hostel budget... Considering this is a hostel and the very low price, I am impressed - FAR better than I expected for such a low cost.
Every hostel and dorm-share will have small issues regarding other guest behaviour and bathroom cleanliness but the staff here do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
