The reception staff were absolutely lovely, and couldn't be more helpful, especially Sophie. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. The barman was perfectly polite, but I got the impression from the two nights I was staying there that he really didn't want to be there. :-( Overall, this was a great stay. "

"Clean room. Nice and quiet. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. The property is an ex-Premier Inn by looks of it. A little dated and the repair work in room 12 on the bathroom tiles are a bit messy/shabby. But overall a comfortable and pleasant stay. Would recommend and stay again."

"There was a plenty of free parking close to the hotel. The hotel could do with some repairs and general tidy up, the overnight price was reasonable so not expecting perfection. Dining options are limited unless you book, we had quite a distance to travel so didn’t want to book and miss the slot. Breakfast service has a good choice but again it’s advisable to book, not quite sure how they cope in the summer months."

"The room was spotless and staff extremely courteous. The floors in the common areas —stone and carpets were very dirty, so a good shampoo or replacement of the carpeting is in order. The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!"
