"The room itself was very nice, and the host was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, it felt as though the property was closed, which was a little strange. Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper. "Beautiful hotel. Excellent stay and wonderful grounds and peaceful. Lovely breakfast and enjoyable but only feedback would be that a few more options on the continental breakfast would have been nice. And coffee machine made warm coffee not hot. Overall I would definitely stay again, staff were so nice and our room was just amazing. Loved this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back to stay again. "

"The room was small but fine for one night. The heating was not on and took a long time to heat the room once the temperature was set. The reason for the overall poor score is the staff. We had no shampoo in the dispenser, which my wife only realised when she was in the shower. I called reception, who were apologetic and said someone would be along shortly. Five minutes later a man turned up with a bottle of shower gel. I told that was not what was needed and he said he'd be back very soon....

"This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. "Just home from the most amazing five days here. The hotel is spotless and the staff all smiles,. My grandkids loved the warm swimming pool, the outdoor gym and the playground. The grounds are wonderful kept, full of mature trees, a war memorial and a pretty fountain. And that's before you get to the front of the hotel. The breakfasts blew us way, and our one evening meal was delicious. "

"Nice location, in the deep of Surrey AONB but that’s where it ends. The building itself is dated and needs modernising. It’s great as somewhere to lay your head. Small bathroom, thin pillows and duvets. "

"Staff great, comfortable beds and clean room. Rooms are small with somewhat limited space for a multiday storage, but the Holiday Inn remains good value for Fleet, especially with its good breakfast included. "

The shower gel was empty, (not life threatening just annoying) as we didn’t want to unpack our toiletries from our flight as we were flying again in the early am. We had dinner at a pub nearby (walking distance) and ordered dessert at the bar to bring to our room. The dessert took nearly an hour, and they brought the wrong thing. Again- not a huge deal, but 45 min to deliver the wrong items is bizarre. The staff was kind enough, and we didn’t complain...

"Even though we had a ground floor courtyard room it was very quiet and clean with a very comfortable bed. Centre of Farnham with lots of restaurants, pubs and shops within easy walking distance "

"Check in staff very helpful. Bathroom not as clean as it should be for a property like this, shower head covered in brown gunk, dirt under rim of toilet and glasses covered in dust. The shower nearly flooded as soon as I turned it on. The kettle was bashed and going rusty. Overall fine for a night but if staying more than one day there is no where to hang towels to dry. The breakfast was sufficient but confusing as there was no one to explain or check me off a list!! "
