"We stayed one night with our little pooch, running late we rang ahead to see what time they finished food, it was after we would arrive but they put us up 2 roasts for when we arrived!! Great service, pleasant prices and one of THE best roast dinners I’ve had, and I’ve had a few! Goode wine selection and not overpriced, lovely friendly very helpful staff, nothing seemed too much trouble!! Will 100% stay again! "

"This is a little gem to find - excellent accomadation and staff along with Quiet surroundings Food id second to none with a wide range for starters and main meal.Rooms are tastefully done with all the usual requirements and fresh milk is from a vacuum flask so its all fresh. Toilets are spotlessly clean and well laid out along with general condition is very good.Thank you and well done to all."

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the pub/restaurant on site. The breakfast area is separate from the pub area, which we thought was a nice touch. Room was a good size (it was the Stratton Suite). Water was great pressure in the shower. Just one small thing. The door at the top of the stairs needs some WD40!"

"A lovely location with wood/lake walks directly adjacent to the hotel. The room was compact, but clean and well equipped with welcome gifts of water and biscuits. Bed good, shower reasonable, but TV a little small for the room size. Food in the evening and at breakfast was very good. All staff were ultra helpful, attentive and polite. Overall recommended."

"Very good for 3 star property - very clean, comfortable bed, tv and coffee provided. Slightly tired decor in terms of flooring but new bathroom suite and very clean. Do not judge this property by outside. Really popular and busy restaurant and bar and lovely food. Helpful and attentive staff. "
