"I have stayed in far more expensive and fancier hotels, but this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the shower was both clean and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The staff was friendly and competent, and the breakfast was great. It had a wide assortment of tasty options. When I'm in Oakland again, I'm staying there. And added bonus, they didn't charge extra for parking. A friend of mine stayed in downtown and was charged $50...

"Everything is good and clean, comfortable beds and fresh clean linens and towels. Bathroom sink has a sewer smell that I don’t like esp when you’re brushing your teeth.
Breakfast was good but its the same every single day. No variety or fruits. Paid $145/per night, breakfast should be better.
Carpets need a good shampoo.
I like there is coffee and lemon water in the lobbly all day.
Parking is no charge. But maybe imbedded in the room charge."

"Excellent property, room was clean, no bad odor, staff was pleasant and joyful. Maybe breakfast can have variety, maybe add bacon and turkey ham to be almost complete. The bar was good, a bottles of Dewar 12 and/ or Buchanan will be great.
We will stay again."

"Room: I have an elderly mother I take care of so I make sure to look for a shower with a seat she can sit on when she take a shower and I always book through Expedia and when I chose the room the room was nothing like pic. No seat in the bathroom for her so I had to order one from housekeeping. Beds were a little stiff but it was clean nevertheless.
Staff: day staff was rude as if I was a bother when asking questions. Night time staff was nice.
Breakfast: I paid on Expedia extra for breakfast...
