room reeked of weed. beds were small. workers are a bunch of kids in their mid 20s who sit around at the bar blasting music and hanging out. no bell carts available. ice machines didn’t work.

We were pleasantly surprised at check in that we were upgraded to a bigger room. They demanded extra in "taxes" when we checked in that was not mentioned in the listing, and it could only be in cash. East Village Hotel
Great location! There was street noise but I brought a noise machine so that helped. There isn’t front desk staff on site so keep that in mind. It’s contactless check-in. There will be housekeeping there daily. I would stay again.
