"Food was good and homemade. But rooms need much investment. Mattress you could feel the springs. Pillows lumpy. Kettle lid broken. Shelf in bathroom broken. Blind broken. Tv had electrical fault and kept coming on during the night. "

The foyer is comfy and welcoming, the staff were all friendly and helpful, our room was cosy, clean and had great air con. "On arrival greeted by reception as if they’d been having a bad day and letting it show. Hotel is pleasant enough but I don’t expect luxury what I do expect a comfortable bed. My expectations were not met here. Easily the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Mattress must have been 20 years old. I resorted to pulling out the sofa bed at 2am it was that bad. Better but not a great alternative. Maybe I got unlucky. "

"Good value for money. Exactly what you would expect from a hotel on the cheap side. We got a room only for a night as we had an early morning flight from Luton. Position is very convenient to go to the airport, the hotel is only a few minutes walk to the bus station where you can get transports to get to the airport. Both the room and the bathroom were very small, especially the shower, but there was everything needed to stay a night."
