"It has a neat, funky, original vibe and Grandma’s basement is very cool! The location of the hotel is in an area we didn’t feel safe walking with children and there were tiny ants in the hotel room everywhere and would be on any food in a second. The restaurant was very expensive and not exceptional food. The pool was fun but the waterslide looks old and weathered and the kids were uncomfortable going on it. Overall it was okay. The rooms were quiet and cool and the games available to play...

"Loved staying here, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was with the pillows, that were new but very firm. At home I use down pillows and these were too firm for me. Otherwise the staff was great and the hotel very nice."

"Absolutely amazing experience at Rosemead House. It is like stepping into a magical wonderland. Beautiful property, building, rooms, restaurant. Delicious breakfast in an adorable setting. We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!"

"Convienient location, great chinese restaurant on basement level. Pool was perfect for a short swim. Small room but lfull size kitchen which proved handy for heating leftovers. Very good value for Vancouver Island."

"Our room was large and well equipped. The staff was very courteous and helpful especially the gentleman who helped us use the EV charger outside. We thought we would have access to a high-speed charger but the one that was available was a level two charger. Fortunately there was no one else who needed it so we used it for the night and had our car fully charged in the morning. The restaurant had little or no accommodations for allergies such as coeliac disease, which was very difficult for us...

"The front desk/valet staff are absolutely amazing! They were all so incredibly friendly and welcoming and would even take time out to say hi to my dog, greet her by name, give her pets and treats! I’ve travelled a lot all over Canada and the US with my dog, and this hotel was by far the most dog-friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and quiet, valet was quick. The location is phenomenal. Highly recommend! Fantastic stay!"
