Khách sạn Làng Furneux Pelham

"The hotel was conveniently located near to Stansted airport on a nearby services and parking was only £5. The room was fine, but the bathroom had a bit of a musty/ damp smell and the door needed some TLC as all the paintwork was scratched, looked like it belonged on a public toilet rather than hotel room. Did what it needed to do for the cost."

"A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay."

"Loved this place so much. It seems to be a local hangout which was fantastic. It’s on a busy street, so expect some noise, but other than that was fantastic. Already planning my next trip back!"

"It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. "

"Very helpful friendly staff. Hotel very tired and basic. Bathroom heavily worn."

"Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great."

"6 minutes drive from Stanstead so 6am at the airport was easy peasy. The room was functional, the bed comfortable."

"I’d say three star… I’ve stayed here often over the past few years and tend to enjoy it, but it’s starting to feel a bit tired. The carpets in the corridor were dirty, the room didn’t have a smart TV, amenities in the room were a bit dated. Could do with updating. Also: The bar is expensive."

"Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were stunning! Food was also great but more on the expensive side. I had the burger on the menu (£18) it did come with chips and was tasty! Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC"

"Fabulous manor with great character and lovely grounds. Pond with fountain. Close to Hatfield Forest Park. Great trails to walk."

"Very nice hotel, well kept and perfect to stay in before an early morning flight"

"The breakfast is amazing. The room is cozy and the bed is comfortable. The host which is the owner are very kind and helpful. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended."

"Great stay !!"

"No air-conditioning. (Just in case you need it.) A fan was supplied in the room and like the room could do with a good clean. Dresser glass top you could see the dust laying on top. Chair provided also had food remains, hair and dust from previous guests. Bed matress should have been retired many ,many guests ago. Springs digging in and undulating as lay. Bathroom was comparatively clean but also like the rest of the room very tired in appearance. Car park can be a little cramped, and can make...

"Excellent Breakfast - continental and cooked. Rooms are quaint - Wooden beams and low ceilings in places, and floors have unevenness of old floors. Staircases are steep and narrow. Rooms have plenty of space. Our room had a bath and shower attachment but other rooms have shower so one might need to ask if you have a preference. Very helpful staff. Dinner was good but a little pricey (maybe that was par for the area?). Outside area was beautiful - on the cricket green. Lots of parking space...
