"King Size Suite booked at considerable expense. Arrived at 6PM to be told not yet ready. No alternative offered. En route, we had called to confirm we had access to the Club Lounge; the person we spoke to said, 'You do, but it is fully booked; we can book you in the à la carte restaurant if you wish'.
As it turned out, the Club Lounge was empty (Leading us to think the person was trying to upsell us into the restaurant), and we waited 45 minutes in it until our room was finally made ready....

"We stayed two weeks here, making this spot our hub for our sightseeing outings around south of England. The room we had was spacious overlooking a very large garden creating a sense of being at "home" rather than feeling trapped in a hotel. Staff lives on the ground and are very helpful. Ample parking space so easy parking for larger SUVs. There are supermarkets close by, so there is an easy supply of fresh fruits and vegetable during our stay. Nice pubs nearby. Close enough to walk and get on...
