"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"This was a leisure visit. We were greeted by you are early (30 mins) which I had acknowledged before they mentioned it and said they would check. Again they said we were early but the room was ready and told Room 3 upstairs! We only have 7 rooms we were told. The room was tidy but dusty and the window although double glazed had a gale blowing through as it didn’t fully seal when closed. The shower head had more water coming out of the top of the shower head than where it was supposed to come...

"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. "Had a room in the attic. The only window on the room had no blinds. The shower was great, lights as well. But wifi was super slow and so slow, I am not used to that anymore. Bed was soft but okay. Overall a decent stay and all the things you need. But for me the atmosphere was... not super welcoming. I would suggest new locks on the door, especially as a female solo traveller that would be appreciated. "
