"It has to be disclosed that the pod ( for those not familiar with it) is indeed a enclosed space you can’t stand up in it ! It doesn’t work for older people and it could result in a possible lawsuit due to injuries - my view on this matter is that - it should be advertised explicitly as a confined space where the guest has to crawl into it and it is somewhat claustrophobic! Other than that, the place is kept clean and well designed!"

"The Locke hotels are always very beautifully designed and the rooms are very nice. The rooms are large, fully equipped kitchen and nice layout.
We had some trouble with the A/C, but was immediately taken care of by the staff, who are very friendly.

"Rooms are on a first come first serve basis. If you check in after 3pm there is a chance you will get a room that isn’t like that pictures - when I request to get another room a man was not very helpful or pleasant to speak with but when I went back and spoke to a woman she resolved the issue very quickly and smoothly. "Lovely location. Room a bit dated and not always in a charming or characterful way - e.g. brown patterned carpet, likely from the 1980s.
At check out I was asked for a 15 pound a night “tip” or service charges and to cover lobby and door staff! I felt awkward asking for it to be removed from the account, but really at 250+ a night I expect staff to be part of the deal. Is tipping at hotel really to become a normal thing in London?"

"Excellent hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were very nice size and very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant or the breakfast, but the gym was very well appointed. The best part is the awesome location. Just blocks away from Tower of London and right next door to the medieval St. Olaf'a church. Highly recommend getting a tour of that as well.

"Clean hotel, staff mostly helpful. Didn’t realize when I booked that I got a windowless room, so be careful with that.
Then someone else open the door to my room while I was in there, because I think they were accidentally assigned the same room.
The worst part was the green LED on the ceiling that lit up the whole room while I was trying to sleep, so note that if you like it dark.
Overall I recommend if you’re in a bind or tight on money, but otherwise go somewhere else."

"The front desk staff welcomed us very warmly and courteously.
Our room had the high ceiling and two large windows in a Victorian building, creating a beautiful space that combined a homey atmosphere with warmth and elegance. The location was also excellent. We heard almost no traffic noise and enjoyed a sound sleep at night. "
