"Nice welcome by friendly team member. Imaginatively restored historic pub with a lovely room with a comfy bed, well furnished with a claw bath. Generous breakfast served by an equally friendly server. So enjoyed our stay. The town has a lot to offer with lovely buildings and shops. Quite a find. "

"The accommodation was compact & OK. The room is above the function room which has events on in an evening, on our stay there was a function with loud music & heavy base that stopped at 11pm. We were not told of the function & would have returned back later if had known. The kitchen extracter fan came on at 8am which disruppted our sleep. The staff & food were excellent"
"Located in the centre of town and my car was parked in the Jockey Club carport throughout my stay. Very quiet, clean rooms with lots of toiletries and towels. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was superb, thank you "
