"Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, superb service where nothing was too much trouble. good menu choice for evening meals - the lasagna was absolutely excellent with a great side salad and the best chips I've had for ages. The draught beer was great and not over priced .... all in all, to be recommended!"

"The kings arms was fine. It’s a busy pub in an old building. The live music is clearly audible in the rooms above, but having said that the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The carpet is a little grubby, but all in all I can recommend."

"Location excellent for access to train station and buses. Clean room and very easy to control heat and air. Friendly helpful staff during 2 night stay. Left my glasses in the room when I checked out. Returned to me carefully wrapped and labelled. Would definitely stay again."
