The location is beautiful located just next to a fjeld, and it just looked stunning.
We slept 4 in the bus, and used the shared toilets and showers.
It is an easy short car ride from Reykjavik, and we also did a daytrip through the golden circle from here.
The campsite has cats and chicken, and we enjoyed their “visits”.
We spend two nights, and would probably feel it was too small for more days, but for a short stay, it was very nice. And it truly is a unique...
"Very nice and cosy hotel. The rooms are pretty small but nice. The bathroom is tiny but functional. The staff is really helpful and kind. Breakfast has great healthy and sweet options and is served with a smile. WiFi is great. Location is very good, close to restaurants and Harpa. You can park for free a few streets from the hotel, make sure to download the Parka app (it shows you which sites are pay zones). Suggestions for the hotel; a wiper in the bathroom and a towel rack."
"Everything was great other than our rental car was missing a front license plate, so we couldn't park in any of the garages. This made parking more difficult for us, but has nothing to do with the hotel."
"I definitely recommend Black Pearl if you are staying at downtown Reykjavik. It's walkable to food, shopping and Bus Stop #4 for tour pickups. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable1 All the staff people are awesome! It will be my place to stay whenever I come back to Iceland in the future !!"
"Many restaurants and shops nearby, perfect location. Super friendly staff. Spacious room with kitchenette, great shower. Nothing bad to say except maybe some noise from church bell across the street (we were at the front and right across from it), but slept through it so no big issue.

"The staff at the Centrum was extremely helpful and very nice! They were able to accommodate an early check in, store our luggage, arrange the Flybus back to the airport. Gave great recommendations for places to eat! The location of the Centrum was great. Near so much. Especially when it came to catching the tour buses and the Flybus! "

Twin bed and sofa. Workt for us because we were 2 grownup and one child but had preferred 3 beds.
Close to everything (Reykjavik is a smal town) but not to the bus station.
Nowhere to leave bags after checking out."
"Huge fan of this property. Location is absolutely perfect, on site amenities are great. Lots of places to hang around in the open areas. On site restaurants and bar plus a little cafe off the lobby. Rooms were clean a very comfortable. Some may feel a little snug, I was solo and was plenty good for me. Shower was the best with terrific toiletries. Service was friendly and accommodating. I have stayed here twice now and would highly recommend. One thing, the rooms do run a little on the warm side...
