"The hot tub was fantastic and inside which was great, lovely and relaxing. The cottage was really beautiful, upside down which I loved. Very peaceful, but there were mouldy patches around the base of the shower and we noticed a few cobwebs. We couldn't find a bowl for use in the microwave. Just a couple of small niggles really. We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely couple of days."

"Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn."

"We stayed in a very nice cottage next to the Mayfield. It was very clean and modern looking in the bathrooms. There are very large beds in both rooms , each having a bathroom, very convenient. The distance from Scarborough is about 10 minutes drive right to the seafront. The reception staff are efficient and curteous. Lots of parking out front too. "

"The room was very adequate, we found it very warm in and around the hotel. Found it a bit strange that there was just two plug sockets but all in all a pleasant stay."

Unfortunately unable to access the restaurant for dinner as fully booked, but breakfast was delicious and well presented. Will definitely return."
