"This was our second visit to Mytton Fold and as on our previous visit we found the hotel to be excellent. It is nicely located to take advantage on the Forest of Bowland, the lakes and Yorkshire. The food options in the bar and restaurant were excellent as were the breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were of a good size and it was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge which was refreshed each day. To top it all it was very good value."

"We had a lovely stay. The hotel is modern, clean and well presented, and the restaurant, bar and breakfast teams were absolutely fantastic — friendly, welcoming and a real credit to the hotel.
Unfortunately, our check-in experience was disappointing. Despite booking a luxury double room, we were initially allocated an accessible room. "Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend"
