"Kleine accomodatie (4 kamers) net om de hoek van de bijbehorende pub met goed eten in een oude herberg uit het jaar 1750. Dit zie je terug in de stijl maar doet niets af aan het comfort. Kleine kamers, maar goed voor een korte overnachting. Ontbijt is gewoon in de pub en er wordt persoonlijk aan je gevraagd wat de wensen zijn."

The young gentleman at the reception gave us outstanding service and honoured our VIP status that we had for Radisson (as they have just changed to Majestics hotels) Restaurant/breakfast managers lovely and very attentive and nice. Only one point, there was an American lady as staff member at breakfast (we saw her one day) let’s say she didn’t seem that she was enjoying her job as much… Everything else lovely , they cleaners lovely. "This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

"Excellent modern, clean hotel. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Free parking. First time staying there so received code after 2pm, for check in after 3pm. The code accessed the building and our allocated room key. Kettle with coffee/tea in room. Electric shower. The room was spotless and spacious. Comfy beds. The only downside is approx 10 min walk to the town centre but pleasant nonetheless. Would recommend."

"Centrally situated in the heart of Bath so ideal for looking around, shopping and transport (train and bus station less than 10 minutes away). Staff were welcoming and very friendly and the room was clean and well equipped."

"A large, comfortable and beautiful room with an immaculate bathroom, in a convenient location, for the price of a much more basic brand. Usual gripe that in a family room for 4, they only give you two of everything (cups, bath towels), and that the pub is expensive (£4.20 for a soft drink, £7 for a beer etc), so the savings are offset at dinner."

"Enjoyed staying here lovely old Cotswold stone style Manor House room was fine looked over garden so was quiet I liked having a room that allowed you to open windows ! Highlight for me was the breakfast everything to my liking and staff all very pleasant."

"Property a little tired but very clean and staff are very nice. Rooms functional we were upgraded to a beautiful view, only complaint the hearing was in a timer and the room was very cold. They gave us an electric heater which took the chill off. "

"Beautiful old property but faded grandeur meant it needs a bit of TLC. Our room and bathroom including sheets and towels were very clean but the carpet was stained the radiator was caked in debris and the cupboard needed a clean. The bathroom looked recently updated and was nice. Amazing views from the rear of the hotel. Good parking and convenient for Bradford on Avon and a short journey to Longlete."
