"This Ryokan is so lovely. Upon checking in they served me tea and waffles in my room and then left snacks in addition to the free tea and ramen in the hallway. The room was extremely clean and it was so nice to put on the yukata they provided and sit on the cool tatami floor at the end of the day blow drying my hair. The futon bed was also very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I return to kyoto. "

"Average quality but convenient location. Staff try their best to offer services you may need but there are so many people checking in and out daily that often the wait is long. The dining area you must pay as you eat (no room charge). Not many wines or sake (1 of each). They have entertainment daily which is a nice touch but as a non smoker I did not enjoy staying here. Level 8 is a smoking floor but many areas of the hotel smell Smokey and it’s not very pleasant. "

"The hotel is conveniently located, and our room is cleaned. We have breakfast included but were disappointed with it. Almost all the foods were the same everyday.
