"Wonderful stay at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel. Fantastic view of the river, made even better by the early morning frost. We had a little confusion over the breakfast time but the lovely ladies working there made sure our stay wasn't blighted and accommodated us. Thank you very much. We wouldn't hesitate in returning. "Beautiful property. A bit of a rabbit warren but delightful to see the original features and feel the age of the building. Comfortable room and excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast had most of what you would expect, I would like more fresh salad available. We especially enjoyed the walking route provided by the hotel, really lovely to get out and about in the grounds. I had a very late arrival (1am) from a business meeting in London, I got lost in the lanes and there was emergency road works, I called the hotel tired, cranky and lost, Richard was so kind, patient, calm, what an absolutely outstanding example of looking after your customers, when I arrived he extended that excellence, by upgrading me so I could stay in the main house and personally...

"We had an amazing Christmas at the Hatchet. Christmas Eve food was great and local musicians provided excellent entertainment which everyone in the pub joned in with. A fantastic atmosphere. The hotel rooms were warm and comfortable. Although we had one minor glich with our room, it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Thank you Gerry.
