"Great place to stay as a stop off for a night en route to the Isle of Wight. Rich in history and heritage and has a rustic charm and character while being well appointed with high end bedrooms, modern bathrooms great showers and really comfortable beds. We had 2 rooms one bigger one smaller and both were great value. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and great service. Overall a very good experience. "

"We had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive."

A heads up my partner is 6ft the shower was a little on the small size .. the room was slightly smaller than we expected . The people are lovely can’t fault it at all , food was lovely enjoyed the crab especially … it was b+b shame we were not offered a cold takeaway brekkie as sadly we were leaving before breakfast was served . "Staff were friendly throughout. Hotel was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The spa was fabulous and a welcome addition after a day of walking in Winchester. This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things!
