"If you like older, historic, this is perfect. If you like new with restaurant/bar, this is not for you. Convenient to Sanford Airport and several restaurants. Neighborhood seemed nice and safe. Good for walking. Place large with kitchen, family room, bedroom and back room. I would stay again."

"Shower easy access!!"

"Did not like the slight smell of urine upon entering bathroom for the first time. Low on shower gel which didn't lather well. Bathroom door had water damage and needs replacing. Wood trim on desk and dresser was tacky (sticky). Murphy's wood soap would take care of that. Ice machine on 3rd floor where we were was out of order. Staff, however, was amazing!"

"I can't say enough about the Tropical Resort and Marina, The guy at check-in is always so nice and helpful, the cleaning staff is great, their property is always clean and attended, the pool is perfect. Like I said form check-in to check out is always just so easy. They usually have Live Music and Food Truck on the week-ends which is a plus. All in all 5 *"

"We stayed one night and enjoyed this hotel. The lady who checked us in (8/7/26) was very sweet and helpful. Only complaint is I could not get her to speak up, even after telling her I was severely hearing impaired, even with my devices. That was frustrating. She was running around cleaning the floors and keeping everything neat, in-between check-ins (we sat downstairs to play cards). Our room was clean, shower was nice and beds were very comfy. "Great staff great location"

"Richie at the front desk is the best. We arrived a day early and he found a way to accommodate us even though they were fully booked. The lady at the breakfast area was incredible. She keeps everything so clean and organized. Looking forward to booking again."

"During a rainstorm water was coming into the room near the AC/Heat unit. Carpet soaked 2-3 feet in front of unit. Coffee maker was broken and water ran all over desk while brewing. Room had “musty” smell and A/C just could not keep the humidity down. Actual room temp would not go below 82°. Staff was great, parking good, quiet room, bathroom vey nice."
