"BEWARE! WE GOT BED BUGS! Also, our room had a broken toilet and phone so we were moved. The second room had a broken bathroom fan that LOUDLY screeched to the point that we didn’t even shower or turn on the light, which was on the same switch. The room had broken window blind levers. There were no blackout curtains so the room was bright. The 8.2 rating is deceiving. Sure, the staff were nice, but just spend a little more money and stay somewhere better. "Clean, convenient, staff friendly, comfortable. Public areas dark and outdated. Nothing lights and paint/carpet couldn’t fix. Room very nice, comfortable, quiet. TV outdated. No streaming, remote so worn couldn’t tell function on buttons. Overall, lower end 3 star at upper end 3 star price. "

"Room and breakfast was a 4. Hair dryer was broke. I had a handicap room but it was a step over side tub . Toilet was low Over all nice visit, I would stay again "

"Staff was super friendly. Had issues with remote control for TV. Went through 3 different remotes before getting one that actually worked. Room was clean, but it needed some TLC. Wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom walls. Breakfast is free but the options weren’t great. The jalapeño and cheese egg souflee was gross. "

"The pictures made this property look impeccable, and not look at all like a motel. Kudos on the marketing! We stayed in room 238 in March of 2026 the weather was cool, and upon entering the room it smelled very musty. We inspected the thoroughly to see if we could possibly located the smell. We turned on the air conditioner and that was not the problem. (Side note: this air conditioner wall unit had a lot of drywall damage under the unit and the trim that was around the unit was gone.) "This resort is exquisite. It is located directly on the beach but also seems like it is in a jungle or Forest. The property is extremely well maintained and the staff was exceptional. We were given a room that we weren't exactly pleased with and they were able to accommodate our needs and provide us with a different room. We loved being able to walk around the property with our small child. I would come back anytime."
