"The breakfast was not diabetic friendly. They stated pet friendly but no place for dog to go to the bathroom. Had to walk dog through garbage . Cigarette butts all over very the place. Beds were terrible. My towels had clumps of black hair on them. Lotion and shampoos left in room were used not new ones. Will not go back"

"The Pleasant Valley Motel is your typical inexpensive MaPa Motel, but this place needs a major facelift inside and out, from the peeling wallpaper to the rusted out old rattling bathroom ceiling fan, many things need an upgrade...including the amenities, if you can call them that, the soap was thin and the size of a quarter, which desaturated after one shower and the small shampoo bottle was half-full from the start. Also, when I arrived at 4pm to check-in after an arduous ride there was a 'closed' sign on the door and a 'be back at 5:00 clock on included...my heart sank. But, after many pushes of the door buzzer a relative of the owner answered the door and had to contact the owner by phone to verify my reservation...this just added to my ordeal. So, all n all not the greatest stay and there are other options within a few miles that are also inexpensive and much more pleasant. "

"Lovely Inn , comfy bed and suite. The breakfast was delicious…especially enjoyed the frittata, fresh baked sweet breads, and latte. Appreciated the fireplace and cognac nightcap served on on a cool April evening ,coming back from a delicious dinner in Lenox. Kool speak easy style bar, good vibes!"

"I had not visited the Ponds for 30 years. It has not gracefully aged. Condo unit has not been updated since it was built in the early 70s and it shows. Drafty and slightly damaged doors, slow drains in the bathrooms, furniture and rugs that show damage and age, and a clubhouse in need of updating. Front desk staff not very friendly or useful, odd because they don’t have a lot of foot traffic this time of the season. There are other similar facilities in the area that might be worth exploring versus this tired old place."
