"Stay in hotels all over the UK amd this stay at the Holiday inn express was faultless. Spent two nights there amd ticked all the boxes needed for our time there, including helo with parking which was a short walk from hotel and very cheap (think was £12 for two nights). Parking or nearby, decent bar, food nice, and spotless rooms that's all I ask for lol"

"First time staying here, we were there for 2 nights. Reception staff were lovely, really friendly every time we spoke to them and even had a laugh on the phone. Proper nice vibe. Breakfast staff felt a bit abrupt though, like you were being rushed while eating which wasn’t great. The room itself was beautiful, at the top floor. That said, the stairs nearly finished me off and the blast of heat from the radiators… I almost joined the ghosts up there. Speaking of which, the place definitely has a bit of a spooky feel. The courtyard was stunning, really peaceful, and room service was great, super friendly again. Only weird thing was we had to prop the window open with a bottle. Overall, really nice stay with a few quirks… and yeah, a couple of spooky things did happen 👀 also I think the staff got sick of me asking about dessert of the day and being disappointed it was lemon tart!"

"Very noisy, not a great ideas to put me on a. Corridor which had a hen party. Woken up constantly. People unreasonably loud in corridor. Check in was unfriendly but check out lady was lovely. Would definitely not stay again "

"All excellent meal very good However all bar restaurant staff had been on very long shifts were tired and moral was low which impacts on them and customers, clearly more staff are needed "

"Check in and breakfast were good. The area is close to great pubs and restaurants and the metro. Unfortunately in the year since we last stayed here, the hotel looks a little rough inside. Carpet looks beat up. There are dings and scuffs all over the walls inside hotel rooms. We had a great time otherwise. "
