"This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. "Lovely lovely stay! Eveything has been really thought out and comfy bed wifi assces to kitchen facillities so perfect for budgeting an over night stay and being able to take food with you rather than buying food in or staying at a hotel where they charge extra prices for somwthing like a pot noodle! Was so hand having somewhere to be able make food for our toddler as she can get unpredicatable as to when she hungry 10/10"

"We have just had a wonderful stay here as my other half was doing the Great North Run. The staff were so helpful polite and attentive. The room was excellent spacious .really comfy beds full bathroom and had everything we needed as well as very quiet. So now comes the restaurant........ wow just wow the food was top notch all freshly cooked and some of the best Italian we have ever had. "The property is beautiful. The staff were very helpful during check in. Our room was in the Castle View Lodge and was very nice. The meals - dinners and breakfasts- were fabulous. The tour of the castle was very interesting and informative. "

"On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10 "
