"The property is really beautiful; gorgeous views, stunning room, and the private onsen is incredible. Absolutely no feedback on the room, grounds, staff, property, etc all amazing! It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. "

"Gora Kadan was the highlight of my trip to Japan. It is beautifully kept and the service, impeccable. None of the photos do this ryokan justice. The private bath was nothing short of breathtaking as there is stunning view of the mountains. I enjoyed the open air and the indoor baths in both areas- the male and female areas are swapped every day for cleaning and it is worth seeing both as they have different garden views.
