"Our room was in the basement which we did not realize until we arrived. The room itself felt a bit dingy with a hodgepodge of furnishings. The air-conditioning was loud and rattling so much so that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. Fortunately, the heat wasn’t too bad so we were able to deal with it. But in peak summer season, it would’ve been unbearable. There was no one identifiable as a staff person so can’t really comment on the helpfulness of the staff since we never saw anyone. The...

"The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury."

It’s on a gorgeous tree lined street, close enough to walk to Bourbon Street without being at the center of the craziness at night. And the pool area was wonderful!"

"Convenient to the hospital, my companion had a medical emergency. Evening staff (Dakota) was friendly and very helpful with good places to eat. Well maintained building, clean and comfortable. Good location, walking distance to popular sites. Valet (Troy) was helpful, as we had to retrieve items from our car after parking. When we return to NOLA we will definitely be back!@"

The maintenance was called multiple times and when we finally crossed paths with the guy on the final trip he proceeded to point his infrared thermometer into the vent that had cold metal inside but not blowing air in the separated off bedroom space instead of measuring the temperature in the actual room.
