"Unique and wonderful! We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. "Received excellent customer service, on family-owned and -run, vacation property. The villa resembles a castle on the exterior. Interior is spacious, and spotless. "We stayed at the castle, and yes it is an amazing castle, for one night. Not far from Rome and an easy drive to the hotel. Free parking and very convenient. Maria messaged us before we got there and and met us at the hotel upon arrival. There was only ourselves and our friends who were staying the night. Crazy, entire castle to ourselves.
