"Classic pub with hotel rooms above the main dining and bar area. You can find similar style hotels all over England. Very good food, well executed and delicious! Comfortable bed, historic feel, kind local staff. "

"Beds are huge and the staff are jolly and helpful providing excellent service. Communal lounge, dining room and grounds all kept really nice.
Spa is more functional than luxurious but good for the price.
Only negatives were:
- both me and my friends eggs at breakfast tasted very vinegar-y.
- Each time the extractor fan was on in my room it was drawing in bad smells eg sewage and cabbage cooking smells.
However overall we really enjoyed our stay and are grateful to the staff for making it...
