"Die Lage direkt am Old Trafford ist einmalig, an einem Spieltag ist hier im und um das Hotel sehr viel los und die Stimmung ist super. Darum ging es uns und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Frühstück war okay, aber übersichtlich und nichts besonderes. Nach dem Spiel haben wir auch dort gegessen, war auch ok, allerdings wurden wir nach 25 Minuten und mehrmaligen Fragen nicht abkassiert. "Excellent location and stay. Only 2 minutes walk to terminal 2. Only downsize was having to enter your details on an iPad with autocorrect at reception. Made the check in process much longer than needed for no real advantage. Other than that, excellent, will use again "

"We visit every Christmas and the condition of the hotel gets better and better each visit. So good to see a property being invested in and maintained. The rooms, staff, food and bar are really excellent. Only very minor gripe - some smoked salmon at breakfast would be nice."

"Great food at breakfast with a good choice. Excellent meal and reasonably priced at Nelson’s with very attentive staff. Rooms very clean, lovely bathroom products available and well stocked tea/coffee tray with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Spa area great, good sized pool. Hot tub, sauna and steam room. All staff were very pleasant from reception, spa and dining room staff. A brilliant stay."

"We stayed in apartment 5 which is separate to the hotel but only a few minutes walk away. We were able to park outside the apartment in our own space (you need to turn into the apartment and go under the arch to find it) and on checkout they let us stay parked there until 3pm which gave us an extra 3 hrs to explore Chester.
